Warm Greetings!
As part of our efforts to implement a system of regular teacher-parent and school-parent communication, below is the detail of upcoming events/topics/activities planned for class 5th for the week of 29th April to 4th May 2019.
Weekly Subject Learning Schedule
English: Chapter -“A Country Childhood”
Children will do the reading and narration of chapter followed by dictation, book work and written work on notebook.
Activity : Poem Elocution.
Mathematics: Chapter- “Factors and Multiples”.
The children will be able to differentiate between the terms:
- Factors and Multiples
- Prime and Composite number
- Test of divisibility
Exercise 3.1 and 3.2 will be done on notebook.
Science: Chapter-“Our Skeletal System”.
Introduction and Explanation will be given to children. Individual reading of the same topic will also be done by the children.
Social Studies: Chapter – “Indian Struggle for Freedom –I”
Reading, explanation and book work of this chapter will be done.
Urdu: Chapter- “میڈم کیوری”
Reading of the chapter will be done followed by written work on course book.
To improve the handwriting, children will do practice page on Urdu cursive writing book.
Activity: Poem Elocution.
Urdu 3rd Language : Chapter –حرفی الفاظ پانچ
Reading and writing work of this topic will be done.
Hindi (IInd Lang) : Students who have opted for Hindi as 2nd language will learn the poem
सांझ लगी अब होने. Written work of this poem will be done. Children will also learn the format of different skills like औपचारिक पत्र , अपठित गद्यांश, चित्र लेखन on their notebook.
Hindi 3rd Language : Chapter-” हौसले की दौड”. Written work of this lesson will be done on their notebook.
Computer: Chapter-” Working with Tables”.
Introduction of this chapter will be given in the lab through audio/visual aids.
General Knowledge: Chapter- “Space Travel and The Solar System”
Children will learn about space and the solar system. Book page No. 20 and 22 will be done.
Value Education: Chapter -“ In the Other’s place”
Through this chapter, children will understand the problems of others and will learn how to be
sympathetic with others.
Friday Activity: Role play
Children will enact role of any personality of their choice within the stipulated time.
