Nursery Weekly Planner – 13th May 2019 to 18th May 2019
Dear Parents,
Warm Greetings!
As a part of our efforts to implement a system of regular parent – teacher meet and school- parent communication below are the details of the upcoming events/topics/ activities planned for class Nursery for the week of 13th May 2019 to 18th May 2019.
Weekly Subject Learning Schedule
English: Students will learn writing of capital letters F and H in workbook on page no.16, 17, 20 & 21. Colouring of the same letters will also be done on worksheet page no. Page no. 6 & 8 . Children will read letters (A-H) from the book.
Mathematics:
- Students will revise number 1 and 7 on square line notebook.
- Oral counting from 1- 20 will also be done.
- Concept of tall and short will be introduced so as to let the students distinguish objects on the basis of their length.
E.V.S.: Students will learn about the functions of basic body parts. This will include sentences like:
- We see with our eyes.
- We hear with our ears.
- We smell with our nose. etc
Reading of page no. 17 will also be done from Book of Pictures.
Urdu: Students will write Haroof ث on worksheet.
Hindi: Students who have opted for Hindi as their second language will write letter अ.
Rhymes: With the help of audio visual tools students will learn rhyme “Head Shoulders Knees and Toes……”
Revision of previous rhymes will also be done.
Story: With the help of audio visual tools, the teacher will recapitulate the previous stories narrated in the class. This will help the teacher to judge students’ listening and speaking skills.
Conversation: Students will learn to speak sentences about their classroom such as:
We study in class Nursery.
We have two teachers in our classroom.
We have two assistants in our classroom.
My classroom is very beautiful. etc
Value Education: Revision of the topic “How to Respect & Help the Family Members” will be done.
Class Activity: Students will play hopscotch game on numbers. This will help the children to manage body control and balance. It also improves eye – hand coordination.
Nature Walk: Students will be taken out for playing on swings and cycling (if weather permits).
Friday Activity: Sliding Activity.
This will help the students in keeping their torso balanced.
