Class UKG: Weekly Planner (from 3rd June to 8th June)
As part of our efforts to implement a system of regular teacher-parent and school-parent communication, below is the detail of the upcoming events/ topics/ activities planned for class UKG for the week of 3rd- 8th June 2019.
Weekly Subject Learning Schedule
- Children will do reading of “i” sound words from their English text book.
- Children will also do reading of topic- “Pom Pom Plays the Cricket” followed by the oral drill of sight words.
- Subject Activity: Hop The Popcorn Activity.
Mathematics: Children will get the concept of Increasing and Decreasing order followed by the practice of same on their book as well as on worksheet.
Moral Education: As part of our efforts to teach moral values to students, children will learn about the importance of personal hygiene.
Conversation: Students will learn how to converse in some common situation like:
- What do you say when somebody help you?
- What do you say when you finish your lunch, work etc?
EVS: Children will get the concept of the topic- ‘Fruits’ .Children will also do activities mentioned on their worksheet.
Note: Children need to bring only fruits in their snacks box on Tuesday(4th June, 2019).
Hindi: Children who have opted for Hindi as their 2nd Language will revise तीन अक्षर वाले शब्द. Practice of the same will be done on सुलेखन. Written work will also be done on worksheets.
Urdu: Children will get the concept of 2-letter words and reading of the same will be done from their text book.
Rhymes: Children will do recitation of new rhyme “London Bridge Is Falling Down…….”
Art & Craft: Drawing and colouring of fruits will be done on the Art-file.
Nature Walk:-Students will be taken out to show them different types of leaves.
Story: Narration of the stories “Elephant and The Mice” and “The Ant and the Grasshopper” will be done .
Audio/Visual: With the help of audio/visual tools, children will see different types of fruits and vegetables and they will also enjoy the rhymes “Bits of Paper………”and “London Bridge Is Falling Down……”
The concept of Increasing and Decreasing order will be also given through audio-visual aid.
