Class 5th: Weekly Planner (31st July to 3rd August 2019)
As part of our efforts to implement a system of regular teacher-parent and school-parent communication, below is the detail of upcoming events/topics/activities planned for class 5th for the week of 31st July to 3rd August, 2019.
Weekly Subject Learning Schedule
English: Topic-Prefix & Suffix
Concept of prefix-suffix will be given to the children followed by related exercises.
Mathematics: Topic- Geometry
- Concept of point, line, line segment and ray will be given.
- Concept and classification of angles, measurement of angles and construction of angles.
- Exercise 7.1 to 7.4 will be done in this week.
Science: Topic- Matter and its States
Written work of the chapter will be done.
Social Studies: Topic –Beginning of the British Rule in the India
Explanation of the chapter will be done.
Urdu (main): Topic : پرندے
Reading and book work of this topic will be done.
Urdu ( 3rd language):رہنے والی جگہ کے نام کی مشق۔ will be done on notebook.
Hindi 2nd language : Students who have opted Hindi as their 2nd language will learn वचन,कारक. Concept and grammar book work will be done .Student will also learn format of अनौपचारिक पत्र writing on their notebook.
Hindi 3rd language : तितली ( bookwork and written work will be done).
Computer: Topic- More on Power Point 2016
Explanation of the chapter will be done in the lab using audio visual tools.
General Knowledge: Topic- Plants and Animal Kingdom
Book page no.50, 51, & 52 will be done.
Value Education: Topic- The gift of Peace
Through this chapter children will learn, what happens when a child is touched by war and violence. It urges them to think about children in war –torn countries and to know what life is like for them. Its important to have a gift of peace in a peaceful country.
Art and Craft: Making of Lamp Shade
Material Required: Ice –cream sticks (2 bundles) and fevicol(1 bottle).
Friday Activity: Card Making Activity
Material Required: One art file page, fevicol and pencil colours.
Events: Summer Camp for class 4 & 5( 28th July – 30th July).
