DPS Budgam Celebrates Graduation Day with Great Flair

Delhi Public School, Budgam, celebrated its Graduation Day on March 24, 2025, with immense pride and enthusiasm. The ceremony, held to honor the achievements of Class 5th students of session 2024, marked a significant milestone in their academic journey. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Pro VC DPS Budgam, Mrs. Mumtaz-u-Nisa Soz, Principal DPS Budgam, Dr. D. Samuel Seelan, Dean DPS Budgam, Mr. Mehfooz Aslam, Junior School In-charge, Ms. Tanveer Joo, and proud parents.

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Tanveer Joo, Junior School In-charge, who took the audience on a nostalgic journey, reminiscing about the students’ educational odyssey.

Dr.D Samuel Seelan, Principal DPS Budgam, congratulated the young graduates and shared valuable insights, emphasizing the importance of patience, quality time, and overall development. He highlighted the school’s focus on holistic development, balanced education, and character formation.

Mrs. Mumtaz-u-Nisa Soz, Pro VC DPS Budgam, addressed the parents, sharing her expertise on maintaining a balance between technology usage and childhood development.

The ceremony featured a soulful prayer, followed by mesmerizing graduation song performances by the students. The highlight of the event was the felicitation of young graduates, who proudly walked the stage in their graduation robes and capes, receiving certificates of graduation.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Bilquis Akthar, Academic Coordinator (Class 6th-8th). She expressed her gratitude to the parents and teachers for their support and dedication.
