Inter-House Multi-Lingual Drama Competition

A Vibrant Celebration of Language and Creativity..….

On April 9, 2025, the school auditorium was abuzz with excitement as the students of Grade 5 took to the stage for the Inter-House Multi-Lingual Drama Competition. The event witnessed the benign presence of Pro VC of the school -Mrs. Mumtaz-u-Nisa Soz, Dean Sir-Mr. Mehfooz Aslam and Junior School In charge ma’am- Ms. Tanveer Joo.

The competition saw four houses – Dal House, Manasbal House, Nigeen House and Wular House participate, each presenting a drama in a different language, including Kashmiri, Hindi, Urdu and English. The plays were meticulously scripted, rehearsed, and performed, showcasing the students’ mastery over the languages. The plays were testament to the students’ linguistic skills, creativity, and teamwork.

The event was judged by a panel of efficient teachers, who evaluated the performances based on criteria such as language proficiency, acting skills, and overall impact. After intense competition, Wular House (English Drama) emerged as the winner, followed closely by Nigeen House(Urdu Drama)  as the runner-up.

Madam Soz  congratulated the participants on their outstanding performances and commended the teachers for their guidance and support. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winning teams were awarded trophies and rest of the performers were awarded certificates for their efforts. Aidah Javed from Wular House  was declared as the best performer of the day for her captivating performance as the protagonist in English play.

The Inter-House Multi-Lingual Drama Competition was a resounding success, highlighting the school’s commitment to promoting linguistic diversity, creativity, and excellence.
