The Investiture Ceremony 2025 at Delhi Public School Budgam was conducted with pride and solemnity on May 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Mumtaz Soz Hall. The event marked a momentous occasion—the official induction of the newly elected Student Council—and stood as a testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing leadership, responsibility, and service.

The ceremony commenced with a warm Welcome Address by the Dean, setting the stage for what would be a deeply meaningful and inspiring event. This was followed by the Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment and new beginnings for the emerging student leaders.

Gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest, Ms. Mumtaz Un Nisha Soz, Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS Budgam, delivered an impactful and motivational address. Her words underscored the values of accountability, dedication, and excellence—the pillars upon which great leadership is built.

The central highlight of the ceremony was the formal investiture of the Student Council members. These included the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Sports Captains, and various other student representatives. In a special segment of the ceremony, academic achievers of Grade 10 and 12—the top three rank holders—were felicitated by the Pro Vice Chairperson, accompanied by their proud parents.
