On August 13, 2025, the students of Class 3A at DPS Budgam celebrated Independence Day with great fervour and patriotism. The celebration began with a solemn prayer, invoking blessings for the nation and its people. This was followed by the singing of a rousing Independence song that filled the air with patriotic zeal. A speech was delivered highlighting the contributions of the freedom fighters who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence, speaking about the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom. The students spoke with enthusiasm about the bravery and dedication of these heroes who fought for India’s liberty. The highlight of the celebration was a vibrant dance performance by the students of Class 3A, showcasing the spirit of patriotism and cultural diversity of India. The energetic and colourful performance was met with applause and appreciation from the audience. The assembly was graced by the presence of Madam Nahid Soz, Principal Mehfooz Aslam, and Junior School Incharge Ms. Tanveer Joo. The celebration was a memorable event reflecting the spirit of patriotism and unity among the students of DPS Budgam. The event fostered a sense of pride and awareness about the nation’s history and the value of freedom among the young students.
