DPS Budgam recently celebrated its Founder’s Day with great enthusiasm, pride, and joy—a special occasion that reminded us of the inspiring vision and values upon which our institution was built. This year’s celebration was particularly memorable as it combined vibrant cultural performances, heartfelt tributes, and a spirit of unity, reinforcing our commitment to holistic education and excellence.

The event began with a warm and inspiring welcome address, setting the tone for a day, full of energy and celebration. Our talented students took the stage by storm, delivering a series of captivating performances including graceful dances, melodious songs, and powerful skits. Each act reflected creativity, confidence, and the values of empathy, perseverance, and patriotism, leaving the audience thoroughly enthralled.

The highlight of the day was the felicitation of our esteemed teaching and non-teaching staff who have devoted significant years of service in shaping the future of countless students. Both teaching and non-teaching staff who have completed 10 and 15 years of dedicated service ,were honoured for their passion, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the institution. Their dedication forms the backbone of DPS Budgam’s continuing journey towards academic excellence and character building.

Adding a special touch to this auspicious day, the school celebrated the birthday of its respected Pro VC, Mrs Mumtazunnissa Soz. Her visionary leadership and inspiring dedication to education continue to guide us in upholding the legacy of DPS. Her presence made the occasion even more special, and her birthday was marked with gratitude and warm wishes from the entire school community.

The  day  concluded with a powerful message of unity, determination, and the collective responsibility to nurture future generations. It was a day to remember—one that honoured our past, celebrated our present achievements, and inspired us to continue striving toward excellence.
