Family Day Celebration
A family is a little world created by love…..
On October 4, 2025, DPS Budgam celebrated Family Day with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event, organized by the LKG class, brought together parents, esteemed guests, and the school’s dignitaries for a celebration filled with music, dance, and joy.
The celebration was graced by the presence of Pro Vice-Chancellor, Mrs. Mumtaz-u-Nisa Soz, Principal Mrs. Glory George, Senior Academic Advisor Dr. Nahid Soz, Dean Mr. Mehfooz Aslam, Junior School Incharge Ms. Tanveer Joo, and Senior School Coordinator Mrs. Inayat Khan.
The event began with a prayer, setting a serene tone for the festivities. This was followed by a heartfelt welcome song by the students. The highlight of the celebration was the array of dance performances by the LKG students, showcasing their talent and confidence. The performances included energetic renditions of Punjabi and Kashmiri songs, which left the audience mesmerized.
A fun-filled segment of the event featured parents participating in a musical game, adding an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to the celebration.
The event concluded with an address by Principal Mrs. Glory George, who extended her heartfelt gratitude to the parents and teachers for their unwavering support and hard work. She also praised the children for their active participation and enthusiasm, making the event a memorable one.
The celebration served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of family and the role it plays in shaping the young minds of our school. It was indeed a joyous day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
