The Book Club of Delhi Public School, Budgam, embarked on an enriching educational trip to the Allama Iqbal Library, University of Kashmir, on 9th October, 2025. The visit, led by the Founder of the Book Club and members of the English Department, provided students with a wonderful opportunity to explore the vast world of literature and knowledge.
The library staff welcomed the students with great warmth, setting the tone for an enlightening experience. The students were given a guided tour of the library, during which they explored the Rare Book Section, Lending Section, Digital Access Section, and the Scholars’ Section. They were deeply fascinated by the impressive collection of books and the wide range of resources available.
The visit also included a tour of the library’s Museum, which offered students valuable insights into literary and cultural heritage.
The day concluded with a delightful lunch in the peaceful library garden, under the graceful shade of the Chinar trees, where students spent time reading and reflecting together.
