The Health and Wellness Club organized a four-week programme aimed at promoting physical fitness, self-care, and healthy living among students. Each week was thoughtfully planned with activities designed to foster awareness and responsibility towards one’s overall well-being.
The programme commenced with an informative session on First Aid, where students learned how to respond calmly and correctly during minor injuries or emergencies. They were introduced to the essential contents of a first aid box and the importance of timely care before medical assistance arrives.
A special session on Self-Hygiene and Common Day-to-Day Illnesses was also conducted, guiding students on maintaining personal cleanliness and preventing common ailments such as cold, cough, and fever.
The next week focused on Yoga, helping students enhance flexibility, concentration, and inner peace through simple asanas and breathing exercises. This was followed by the celebration of Milk Day, which highlighted the nutritional value of milk and its vital role in building strong bones and boosting immunity.
The four-week programme concluded with an enthusiastic Cleanliness Drive, encouraging everyone to keep the school premises neat and hygienic.
Through these initiatives, the Health and Wellness Club successfully motivated students to adopt healthy habits, remain mindful of their physical and mental well-being, and contribute towards a cleaner and healthier community.
