Inter-house Science Olympiad for Classes 6 & 7 – A Celebration of Knowledge and Excellence
The Inter-house Science Olympiad for Classes 6 and 7 at DPS Budgam was held in three exciting rounds, bringing together young scientific minds from all houses. The competition began with a written exam on October 18, where the top two scorers from each house in each class qualified for the next round, resulting in eight students per class moving forward. The second round, conducted on October 29 in the school auditorium, featured 48 students competing with great enthusiasm and teamwork. From this round, eight finalists—two from each house—were selected for the much-anticipated final round.
The grand finale took place on November 1, with eight brilliant students showcasing their scientific knowledge, logical reasoning, and quick thinking. In Class 6, the winners were Haaziq Khaliq Bhat from Blue House, who secured first place; Amaan Ibrahim from Green House, who took second place; and Muneeb Ahmad Sheikh from Blue House, who finished third. In Class 7, the winners were Sawni Tyagi from Blue House, who secured first place; Hafsah from Blue House, who took second place; and Zainab Yaqoob from Yellow House, who finished third.
