The spirit of Children’s Day lies in celebrating childhood with care and compassion. A special assembly was conducted at DPS Budgam on 14th November 2025 by the students of Class 3rd E on the eve of Children’s Day with great zeal and fervour. The programme began with the morning prayer, setting a positive and vibrant tone for the day, followed by a melodious song presented by the students, adding charm to the occasion. Students then shared the thought for the day, highlighting the importance of childhood and innocence.
The assembly featured a short and informative speech on the significance of Children’s Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his deep affection for children. A graceful dance performance was also presented by the students, beautifully depicting the spirit of childhood, teamwork, and the value of friendship.
The assembly concluded with appreciation for the students’ active participation and encouraging words to help them grow with confidence, kindness, and curiosity. The special assembly served as a meaningful reminder to cherish and nurture the unique potential within every child.
