When Words Come Alive: A Memorable Day for the Book Club

“Ink Meets Inspiration,Pages Turned, Bonds Formed: A day of Literary Magic”

Delhi Public School, Budgam’s Bookclub recently hosted an enchanting author meet and facilitation ceremony on November 15, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on our literary landscape!

We were honoured to have Professor Shafi Shauq and Alumni Mufaiz Khan grace the occasion as our esteemed guests. The event began with a heartfelt welcome address by the Founder and Incharge, Ms Hizb Nazir,  setting the tone for a day of literary delight and intellectual stimulation. Xernain Rouf of Class 9th D, took the stage to share the remarkable journey of the Bookclub since its inception, inspiring us all with her passion and dedication.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the engaging Q & A session with our author, where young minds bravely voiced their curiosities and walked away with invaluable insights. We’re grateful to the author for gifting their treasured works to our school library, further enriching our literary haven. The facilitation ceremony was a celebration of the unbreakable bond between the author, ex-president and the Bookclub, with certificates, badges, and mementos presented as tokens of appreciation.

We were delighted to have our Principal, Glory George, and Senior Academic Advisor, Nahid Soz, join us for the event, adding to the grandeur of the occasion! As our guests bid us adieu, they left with a promise to return for our weekly Bookclub meets someday, filling our hearts with joy and anticipation!

Here’s to the Bookclub of 2025 – a year of growth, learning, and unforgettable memories! We eagerly await the new session, embracing fresh talent and curious minds ready to make their mark!
