Special Assembly on International Women’s Day

Women are strong, it’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength……

DPS Budgam’s special assembly on International Women’s Day, held on March 14, 2026, was a vibrant celebration of women’s strength and courage. Class 5th A presented a heartfelt prayer, a soul-stirring song, and a wonderful dance that showcased the achievements and contributions of women.

The students highlighted the remarkable journeys of women who have broken barriers and inspired others, from scientists like Marie Curie to activists like Malala Yousafzai. They also celebrated the everyday heroines in our lives – mothers, teachers, and friends who make a difference.

The assembly concluded with a powerful message, celebrating women’s empowerment and the importance of equality. Students vowed to support and uplift women in their lives, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity. The celebration was a joyous recognition of women’s impact on society, leaving everyone inspired and motivated.
