Arbor Day Celebration at DPS Budgam

DPS Budgam celebrated Arbor Day on 24 March 2026 with great enthusiasm. The special assembly, organized by Class 5th C, highlighted the importance of trees and their role in our ecosystem.

The event began with a heartfelt prayer, acknowledging the significance of nature and our responsibility to protect it. This was followed by a melodious song on the importance of plants, which set the tone for the rest of the celebration.

The highlight of the event was a wonderful skit presented by the students, depicting the journey of a tree from a small seed to a tall, strong tree. The skit showcased the various stages of growth, emphasizing the need to nurture and protect our environment.

Students shared inspiring speeches on the benefits of trees, highlighting their role in providing clean air, oxygen, and shelter. A beautiful poem was recited, urging everyone to care for our green friends and preserve the beauty of nature.

The event concluded with a pledge to plant more trees and contribute to a greener future. The celebration was a resounding success, raising awareness about the importance of trees and inspiring everyone to take action.
