Inter-House IT Quiz Competition – Class 4

The Inter-House IT Quiz for Class 4, held at DPS Budgam on 4th April 2026, proved to be a great success. The event highlighted students’ impressive computer knowledge, teamwork, and presence of mind. Four houses—Manasbal, Nigeen, Wular, and Dal—participated enthusiastically, with each team comprising three students.

The quiz featured four engaging rounds: Take Your Pick, Abbreviations, Visual Round, and Rapid Fire. In Take Your Pick, teams selected questions from various categories, demonstrating their understanding of IT concepts. The Abbreviations round tested their knowledge of computer terminology, leading to the elimination of one team. The Visual Round required participants to identify technology-related images, while the Rapid Fire round assessed their speed and accuracy.

Manasbal House (Huzaif–4B, Sehrish–4A, Sundas–4A) emerged as the winner, showcasing remarkable performance. Dal House (Mir Rayan Rouf–4E, Laiba Iqbal–4E, Ridha Iqbal–4D) secured the first runner-up position, followed by Wular House (Ahmad ibn Ashraf–4E, Imaad Ruheel–4C, Hurmat–4F) as the second runner-up. Nigeen House also competed admirably, adding to the spirit of the event.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Principal, Mrs. Glory George; Dean Co-curricular Activities, Mr. Mehfooz Aslam; and Junior School In-charge, Ms. Tanveer Joo. They appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring and learning in the field of technology.

The Principal also expressed gratitude to the department for the successful conduct of the quiz and motivated students to cultivate the habit of reading to broaden their knowledge.

The event fostered healthy competition, collaboration, and enthusiasm among students. It provided a valuable platform to showcase their skills, learn from one another, and enjoy the spirit of participation. Overall, it reflected the school’s continued commitment to integrating technology with education.
