Delhi Public School, Budgam organized an exciting Eco Trip to Dachigam National Park on 13th April 2026 for the students of Classes 4 and 5. The trip was based on the theme ‘Explore, Learn and Conserve’, aiming to connect young learners with nature and sensitize them towards environmental protection. The children were thrilled to witness the rich biodiversity of Dachigam. They spotted several animals and birds in their natural habitat, which turned into a live lesson on wildlife and ecosystems. A visit to the Fisheries Department gave them a closer look at fish breeding and conservation practices, adding a valuable scientific touch to the trip. Walking through the lush green trails, students explored the beauty of the forest, observed different plant species, and learned the importance of preserving natural resources. The teachers guided them on how small actions like avoiding litter, saving water, and planting trees can help conserve our environment. The trip was a perfect blend of fun and learning. It left the young explorers inspired to become responsible guardians of nature and carry forward the message of conservation.
