Delhi Public School, Budgam organized an exciting Eco Trip to Dachigam National Park and Harwan Park on 15th April 2026 for the students of Classes 2 and 3. The trip was based on the theme ‘Explore, Learn and Conserve’, aiming to connect young learners with nature and sensitize them towards environmental protection.
The children were thrilled to witness the rich biodiversity of Dachigam. They spotted several animals and birds in their natural habitat, which turned into a live lesson on wildlife and ecosystems. A visit to Harwan Park further added joy to the day, where students enjoyed the serene surroundings while continuing to observe nature up close.
Walking through the lush green trails, students explored the beauty of the forest, observed different plant species, and learned the importance of preserving natural resources. The teachers guided them on how small actions like avoiding litter, saving water, and planting trees can help conserve our environment.
The trip was a perfect blend of fun and learning. It left the young explorers inspired to become responsible guardians of nature and carry forward the message of conservation.
