Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 held with Grandeur at DPS Budgam

Delhi Public School Budgam proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity on the school premises. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council, symbolizing leadership, responsibility, and commitment.

The occasion was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Hariprasad K.K., IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Budgam, whose presence added prestige and inspiration to the event.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Tarieq Ahmad Mir, Convenor of the programme. The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of badges and sashes upon the newly elected council members by the Chief Guest, signifying the official assumption of their roles.

This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony administered by the Principal, Mrs. Glory George. The Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Heads, and other council members solemnly pledged to uphold the values, discipline, and responsibilities entrusted to them.

In his address, Mr. Hariprasad K.K. congratulated the young leaders and emphasized the importance of discipline, integrity, and service to society. He encouraged students to strive for excellence and lead by example.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the newly elected Head Boy, Hubaan Hussain Khan.

The event was attended by the Pro Vice Chairperson, General Manager, Dean of Co-curricular Activities, Senior and Junior School Coordinators, esteemed members of the administration, parents, and students.
