Class 4C of DPS Budgam presented a touching Mother’s Day Special Assembly on Tuesday, 13th May 2026, to celebrate the love, care, and sacrifices of all mothers. The assembly began with a peaceful morning prayer, followed by the thought for the day: “A mother’s hug lasts long after she lets go.” A well-prepared speech by the students highlighted how mothers are our first teachers, best friends, and strongest supporters. The young orators of 4C then recited a heartfelt poem, which moved everyone in the audience. This was followed by a melodious group song. The most vibrant segment was the dance performance, where students portrayed a mother’s journey through graceful expressions and colourful costumes. Their energy and coordination won loud applause from teachers and students alike. The assembly ended with the appreciation of all participants and reminded everyone that a mother’s love deserves to be celebrated every day, not just once a year. The event left everyone smiling, with a deeper love and respect for the word Mother.
