Delhi Public School Budgam Book Club held its Badge Ceremony

“Nurturing Minds, One Page at a Time”

Delhi Public School Budgam Book Club held its Badge Ceremony today in the Junior Wing Conference Hall. The event was graced by Principal Ms. Glory George, Dean of Co-Curricular Activities Mr. Mehfooz Aslam, Junior School In-Charge Ms. Tanveer Joo, Book Club In-Charge Ms. Hizb Nazir, and the club members.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome note, followed by the Principal’s address on the importance of reading for students. Addresses were also delivered by the Dean and the Junior School In-Charge.

Ms. Hizb Nazir then announced the office bearers: Ms. Fatima Argawal, Class X, as President; Ms. Ariana Zeeshan, Class XI, as Secretary; Mr. Ayaan, Class X, as Co-Secretary; and Ms. Ayat Fatima, Class XI, continuing as Chief Editor.

The Badge Ceremony for members was followed by a group photograph with the dignitaries. Everyone emphasized on cultivating reading habits among young learners, after which the club constitution was read to apprise members of the rules.

Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice was declared Book of the Month. The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge for a fulfilling year ahead.
