Inter-House Science Quiz Class 4

The Science Department of the Junior Wing, DPS Budgam, organized a vibrant and intellectually stimulating Inter-House Science Quiz for Class 4 on 12th June 2026, aimed at nurturing scientific temperament, curiosity, and collaborative spirit among young learners. The event was graced by Principal Mrs. Glory George and HOD Science Ms. Misba, whose encouraging presence uplifted the participants and added grace to the occasion. Four houses participated with great zeal and preparation: Dal House, Manasbal House, Wular House, and Nigeen House. The quiz was structured into four engaging rounds—Round 1: MCQ to test conceptual clarity, Round 2: Identify the Picture to assess observation skills, Round 3: Rapid Fire to challenge quick recall, and Round 4: Riddles to encourage logical reasoning and creative thinking. The students displayed remarkable confidence, quick reflexes, and a solid understanding of basic scientific concepts, making the competition both educational and entertaining for the audience. After an exciting contest filled with close calls and enthusiastic responses, Dal House emerged as the Winner, while Manasbal House secured the 1st Runner-Up position and Wular House bagged the 2nd Runner-Up position. The event concluded with appreciative remarks from the Principal and HOD Science, who commended the students for their preparation and the Science Department for fostering an interactive learning environment. The quiz successfully achieved its objective of making science fun, engaging, and a subject of inquiry beyond textbooks.
