Over the past couple of weeks, the Home Science Club of DPS Budgam – Junior Wing (Classes I–V) has been conducting a series of engaging and joyful Real-Life Skill Activities for our young learners.
Through hands-on activities like folding clothes, shoe-lacing and tying, sandwich making and bhelpuri preparation, students learned useful everyday skills in a fun and interactive way. Along with practical skills, they also developed an understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, teamwork, patience, discipline and self-reliance.
Conducted under the guidance of the Home Science Club and class teachers, these activities provided children with opportunities to learn by doing, take responsibility and gain confidence in managing simple tasks independently.
The initiative reflects the school’s belief that true education goes beyond textbooks and prepares children for life. Each activity brought excitement, laughter and valuable learning, helping our students take another step towards becoming confident, capable and life-ready individuals.
