Celebrating Bapu: Truth, Peace and Cleanliness

Be the change that you wish to see in the world…..

To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, a heart-warming Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Class 3C on 1st October, 2026 at DPS Budgam.
The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer song presented by the students, creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony. This was followed by an inspiring thought of the day based on the ideals of truth and non-violence.
The students recited a beautiful poem on Gandhiji, highlighting his simple living and high thinking. Thereafter, the children presented the teachings of Gandhi Ji– Truth, Non-violence, Honesty and Cleanliness – through short speeches and show these teachings by their performances, reminding everyone of Bapu’s timeless values.
The highlight of the assembly was a graceful dance performance on a patriotic song by the students of 3C, which was highly appreciated by one and all.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.
