Educational visit to the University Of Kashmir

The Department of Physics DPS Budgam under the supervision of Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Qasba, HOD Physics organized an Educational visit on the 3rd of April 2023. A group of students from Class 11th got an opportunity to visit the Dept. of Physics at Kashmir University. The students were enabled to perform some practicals under the guidance of the senior faculty members. In this learning expedition, the students chiefly learned the Scintillation Counter for tracing radioactive material. Besides this, varying magnetic fields of solenoids using Gauss meters measuring devices and some other practicals were also conducted.

The chief motive behind this event was to enlighten the students with the practical aspects of  Physics and develop a scientific attitude.
