Educational Tour to Industrial Units.

The Department of Commerce, Delhi Public School Budgam under the supervision of Mr. Bilal Ahmad Khan, HOD Commerce organised an educational tour. On April 26, 2023, fifty five students along with two faculty members visited the different industrial units located in South Srinagar.
Industrial visit is considered as one of the tactical methods of teaching as it enables students to know things practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. The visit helped to broaden their understanding of the world and encouraged them to think more critically about the world around them. It provided an opportunity to develop important skills such as independence, problem-solving, and teamwork, as they navigated unfamiliar environments. Practical learning environment helped the students retain information and develop critical thinking skills.
Additionally, interactive learning was more engaging and enjoyable for the students making it a valuable addition to what is achieved in the classroom. The students got a first-hand experience and a good opportunity to get acquainted with different industrial practices.
The Department of commerce both the teachers as well the students expressed their gratitude and lauded the efforts of the worthy Principal, Mr Mehfooz Aslam for instilling the spirit to organise such field visits.
