Summer Camp 2023 (Senior Wing)

Tripping down the Valleys Wild.

Summer camp is an important tool that offers structured unity for the holistic growth of children. It makes the children navigate the alleys of their small world and concomitantly widen their mental horizon.

Delhi Public School, Budgam organised a week long summer camp at health resort, Yusmarg- the place known for its lush green meadows and captivating beauty. The camp was divided into three groups- The first group comprised of  girls from 6^th to 12^th grade, the second group included boys from 6^th to 8^th grade and third included boys from 9^th to 12^th grade. Apart from enjoying the breath taking scenic beauty, the children were engaged in sports, music , art and other fun activities.

Trekking being an integral part of camp, exposed children to diverse vistas of learning as it included importance of natural resources and  their preservation. The natural beauty of the place acted as a soothing balm to the children of present era who are otherwise driven in the modern age of science and technology. The spot teemed with life, as more frolic and fun came from the children during campfire.

However, the camp culminated mirthfully on 28^th August, 23, with both students and faculty participating in music party.
