Mathematics Olympiad Award Ceremony

An award appreciation ceremony was conducted by the Department of Mathematics, Delhi Public School Budgam on 9^th September 2023 in presence of honourable Director DPS Budgam, Mr.Salman Soz in the school auditorium to grade 7^th students for their outstanding performance in Interclass Mathematics Olympiad 2023 conducted by the Department of Mathematics on 26^th of July 2023. The event began with a PowerPoint presentation showing various mathematical activities conducted by the  department throughout the session. The trophies and certificates of appreciation were distributed to toppers of Olympiad by the Chief Guest,  Mr. Salman Soz and  the Head of  Department, Mr Rakesh Pandita. Also,  the certificates of appreciation were awarded to various students section wise. The first position in Mathematics Olympiad was bagged by Abdul Haseeb Bhat. The second position was shared by Mohammad Ilyaas Ganai and Syed Maria Bukhari. The third position was shared by Abdul Muqeet Tariq, Rida Sarfaraz, Mohammad Adam, Mohammad Laraib Mir and Syed Hamas Hussain.

While speaking to audience,  the worthy Director praised students for their participation, interest and outstanding performance in the  Olympiad. He encouraged students to participate in all such competitions conducted by different departments from time to time. He also emphasized  the significance and essentiality of subjects like Mathematics and Science. The Director appreciated the  department and all the  coordinating staff for successfully conducting the Olympiad. He advised the students to get benefited and involved in teaching and learning  process of highest level offered by DPS Budgam and  create a wonderful culture and exposure for learning.
