Dps Budgam’s Football Team Clinches A Convincing 4-1 Victory Against Rafiabad Public School

In a riveting showdown, DPS Budgam Football Team demonstrated their prowess by sealing a stellar win in Match 13 of Welkin Premier League on Sunday, November 19. The match was held in the Ruby Ground of SRM Welkin School, Sopore where DPS Budgam locked horns with Rafiabad Public School and comfortably clinched a 4-1 victory against the opponents. A strong defensive strategy and precise goal-scoring were the key elements which steered them to script a convincing win against the opponents.

In the first half, both the teams went toe-to-toe as they scored one goal each. The spectators were on the edge of their seats to witness the part of the game which was yet to come. In the second half, the scoreboard revealed the tale of DPS Budgam’s dominance having scored three goals while the opponents couldn’t manage to crack the strong defense knitted by the winning team leaving them with no goal. Mohammad Eesa, a student of 10th grade, was declared the Man of the Match for scoring three goals. He dedicated the win to the football coach of the school, Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Zargar, whose relentless dedication and commitment played a major role in achieving the feat. He further remarked that the principal of the school, Mr. Mehfooz Aslam, had been a boosting factor all the while.

The match was a testament to the quality of football on display and spectators were treated with an array of breath-taking moments. Good sportsmanship was displayed by both the teams as the opposing side shaked hands and congratulated the winning side for their stunning victory.
