NIFT Spectrum 2023(Annual Youth Festival)

Delhi Public School Budgam Participates in “SPECTRUM 2023”An Annual Youth Festival Organised By The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) at its Campus At Ompora, Budgam, J&K on 17-18 May 2023. 

The students from DPS Budgam from class 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th under the supervision of Miss Hizb Nazir Khan participated in different events and activities conducted by The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Budgam. On day 1, the festival started with the inauguration ceremony in the campus amphitheatre and all the participants were addressed by the various renowned personalities. The theme of the event was Cordelia. The girls basketball  from DPS Budgam  won against The Life Skill’s school and reached the finals against DPS Srinagar, Principal Mehfooz Aslam, DPS Budgam personally came to cheer up the students.

On day 2, students started with indoor games. Syed Asgar Ali Rizvi participated in Chess and played commendably well, followed by Momin turning all heads with his carrom skills. The students brought home souvenirs from the stalls like tote bags, paintings, hand made jewellery and other decorative stuff. The students explored the whole campus and had an interactive session with the students from DPS Srinagar, NIT Srinagar, NIFT & Sri Pratap college. The students participated in different activities like snakes and ladders, guess the song and check your IQ etc. The students enjoyed the different singing and dancing styles showcased by the students of different schools and colleges. The event ended with the battle of the bands and award ceremony. The students enjoyed the whole experience and will cherish these priceless memories they share with their friends.
