Inter-Section Urdu and Hindi Debate

Don’t be loud lift your logic…..
It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it. Debates are the very foundation of the society we live in today. It is like an intellectual sport where you have to learn the skills to win. Skills in creating, researching, and defending debate positions prepares students for life and also benefit them in academics and career. Providing a platform for the students to showcase their critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical skills, the school organised an Inter-Section Urdu and Hindi Debate for class 5th on the topic ‘Can Internet Replace Teacher or Not’ (Urdu) and ‘Should Homework be Given or Not’ (Hindi) on 19th July, 2023. Pro VC Mrs. Mumtaz-u-Nisa Soz and Principal Mr. Mehfooz Aslam also graced the occasion with their benign presence.
The debate comprised of two rounds. Each section was represented by two participants, who had to present their arguments in front of a panel of judges.  In the first round, debaters articulated in their opinions about the topic. The second round was a a nail biting finish wherein the participants had to contend with some tough questions. Each question was answered very confidently. The participants were evaluated based on their content, delivery, and overall performance. Mr. Mehfooz Aslam boosted the morale of all the participants and praised them for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the art of debating. The competition concluded with felicitating the winners and encouraging the other participants. Such competitions promote a culture of intellectual exchange and prepare students for real-world challenges.
