The Department of Humanities DPS Budgam Organizes Historical Visit

A generation which ignores history has no past and no future. The best way of understanding our history is by reliving the moments of history (by watching plays) and visiting the places of importance with some well-read people.

At DPS Budgam, we believe that practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge.

The Department of Humanities of DPS Budgam organized  an educational tour for the students of  class 11th.  They were taken to “Chashma Shahi,” which is known for its beautiful architectural & historical significance. The purpose of the visit was to develop interest among students in the history of Kashmir. The visit was to throw light on the contribution of the Mughal rulers in Kashmir and their architecture. As is famously said we must live out of our imagination and  not out of our history so this practical journey made the students feel the essence of past.
