Run for Fun, Run for Joy… ..

Delhi Public School Budgam organised a cross country run for Classes Nursery-5^th  from 24^th April to 2^nd May, 2024.  The students experienced the joy of physical fitness via  CROSS COUNTRY RUN which was organized  with the theme “Run For Joy”. The race was specially designed to help kids to challenge themselves, have fun and feel successful. Students were grouped according to gender, house and grade. This event gave younger athletes a chance to run with their peers.

Running in a team serves as a motivation and a healthy way to work with others. The cross country run was aimed at integrating students with nature, and instil in them discipline, direction and order in the guise of carefree environment. The winners were awarded medals for their speed, determination and sportsmanship. The school always looks forward for such ways to let children practice the strengthening of their will, discipline and spirit of sports.
